Join the Ride of Your Life as Pedal Pub Myrtle Beach General Manager
Welcome to Pedal Pub Myrtle Beach, where every ride is a party and every pub stop is an adventure! We’re the nation’s leading party bike experience, turning ordinary tours into extraordinary memories. Perfect for everyone from first time visitors to seasoned locals, our tours promise laughter, fun, and a whole lot of pedal power.

Why This Role is a Big Deal:
Are you ready to take the wheel of the most fun job in Myrtle Beach? As our General Manager, you won’t just be managing a team—you’ll be the life of the party! If you live for the thrill of the ride and can turn even the grumpiest of guests into raving fans, this job is tailor-made for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Gusto: Inspire your team of pilots to deliver tours that guests will be talking about for years. Your energy will be the secret ingredient to our success.
  • Keep the Wheels Turning: From scheduling tours to keeping our bikes in tip-top shape, you’ll make sure everything runs smoother than a cold beer on a hot day.
  • Be the Party Starter: You’ll be the face of Pedal Pub Myrtle Beach, making friends and influencing people at community events and local hotspots.
  • Innovate and Elevate: Dream up marketing campaigns that get people excited and analyze data to keep us ahead of the pack.

What You Bring:

  • Leadership: You’re a natural-born leader with a track record of turning teams into tight-knit families.
  • Hospitality Heart: Rain or shine, you’re committed to making sure every guest has the time of their life.
  • Business Savvy: You understand the numbers and know how to turn a profit without turning your hair gray.
  • Adventure Spirit: You’re not afraid to get out there and pedal with the best of them, creating unforgettable experiences rain or shine.
  • Open Availability: This is NOT a 9-5. We work when our guests are ready to party, that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience, including training and supervising a team. You’ve got the skills to turn chaos into organized fun.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in a business-related field preferred. Because we need someone who can manage numbers, not just bikes.
  • Experience in attractions or tours preferred. You know the drill and can lead tours with your eyes closed (but please don’t).
  • Sales and/or marketing experience preferred. You can sell ice to a snowman and make it sound like the best deal ever.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to maintain bikes. If you can fix a flat and not end up with leftover parts, we want you.
  • Outgoing and charismatic personality with the ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people. You’re the person everyone wants at their party.
  • High ethical standards. We need someone who’s as honest as the day is long (and our days are pretty long).
  • Proficiency in Office software. You can navigate Excel like a pro and won’t break into a cold sweat at the sight of a spreadsheet.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information. We’re not running a gossip column here.
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You’ll be leading the charge whether it’s sunshine or a tropical storm.
  • Excellent communication skills. You can get your point across even if the background noise is a cheering crowd.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with limited supervision. You’re a self-starter who doesn’t need a babysitter.
  • Must be able to respond to company needs 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for emergencies. Emergencies don’t wait for office hours, and neither do you.
  • Enjoy being active and physically fit. You’ll be pedaling your way to fitness (and fun).
  • Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments timely. You know how to juggle tasks without dropping the ball.
  • Must be able to handle difficult situations and deadlines with a sense of urgency. You thrive under pressure and keep your cool.
  • Ability to operate with high integrity and productivity under pressure. You’re the calm in the storm.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods. You’re basically a superhero without the cape.
  • Strong commitment to passenger safety. You keep everyone safe while they’re having the time of their lives.
  • Embrace a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Because that’s when the magic happens.
  • Punctual and reliable. If you say you’ll be there, we know you will.
  • Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving record and no DUIs. We trust you with our guests and our bikes.
  • Successful completion of our Pilot Certification Program after hire. You’ll be trained to be the best of the best.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Safety first!

Perks and Benefits:
Competitive Compensation: We pay well and offer performance-based bonuses. PLUS generous tips when you’re the life of the party! (Cha-ching!)

Paid Time Off

  • Medical, Dental and Vision
  • Community Impact: Your work will bring joy and unforgettable memories to both locals and
    tourists.
  • Work hard, play hard: PPMB offers generous paid time off to our full-time crew AND birthday pay!

Core Values:

  1. Run it like you own it.
  2. Have Fun.
  3. Ask Questions.
  4. Make it happen.
