We’re hiring! Here’s a quick description of the position:
Drive a bike with a bunch of super-happy people to 3 bars over 2 hours. Be outside, have fun, and make great tips. Hours are flexible so you can work as much as you want!
ABOUT PEDAL PUB
Pedal Pub is a super-fun tour where up to fifteen people hop on a bike and pedal their way to three breweries/bars over the course of two hours. The combination of friends, exercise, drinks and the outdoors results in an incredible time, every time!
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for fun, upbeat people with amazing personalities to join our team as Pilots.
Pilots drive the party bike and bring their individual style to each tour, delivering an unforgettable experience to guests who come to celebrate birthdays, bachelorettes, corporate outings, bar mitzvahs, team outings, class reunions, friend/family get-togethers and more.
We look for personality more than past experience.
This position is ideal for fitness trainers, bartenders, servers, baristas, actors, artists, students, comics, musicians, photographers, and folks looking for a fun and flexible job!
Tours are located in Downtown Toronto.
Upon completion of our Pilot Training Program, Pilots are well equipped to lead tours around downtown on our pedal-powered patios. You’ll also find yourself with a bunch of cool new friends, your fellow Pilots!
Want to work only a handful of tours on the weekend – awesome! Want to work as many tours as possible – fantastic!! Whether you’re free to work little or lots, you’ve found the spot.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safety oriented – Our #1 priority is customer safety. This requires a confident and strong individual who can enforce rules when necessary
- Entertain guests while safely navigating predetermined routes
- Ensure customers and bikes are always safe
- Assist with bike cleaning
- Follow operational policies and procedures
- Snap group pics!
REQUIREMENTS
- Upbeat and engaging
- Responsible and safety-conscious
- Punctual and reliable
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions. Tours run rain or shine! You have a big roof over you so won’t get that wet if it rains!
- Ability to stick to a schedule
- Available to work at least 2 weekends a month on average, which could be a combo of Fri/Sun or Sat/Sun or Fri/Sun. We are very flexible with schedules
- Must be at least 19 years of age and possess a valid Ontario G driver’s license
- Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record and clean criminal record check
JOB TYPE, HOURS
Part time only; no benefits
Standard operations are seven days a week, 11am-10:30pm, May to October; busiest times are evenings and weekends
