10 Pro Tips for an Unforgettable Night with Pedal Pub Winnipeg

Pedal Pub Winnipeg pilot leading tour

At Pedal Pub, we believe that the journey is just as important as the destination. As you embark on one of our tours, you’ll visit 2-3 local bars, taprooms and restaurants while enjoying an equally entertaining, and unique thrill ride with 15 of your closest friends!

However, to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all, it’s essential to get familiar with the following tips. Whether you’re a seasoned party bike aficionado or a first-time tour attendee, here are some tips to help you navigate your pub crawl smoothly:

1. Do not show up drunk
If you arrive intoxicated, we will not allow you on board with the gang and you’ll have to stay back, miss the tour and experience the worst FOMO of your life – so do yourself a favour and make sure to arrive sober, ready to enjoy responsibly.

2. Complete the E-Waiver in Advance
When you book your tour, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a link to an online e-waiver. It is crucial that you sign this waiver and forward it to your group for them to sign as well. 2 reminders will be sent to you as we get closer to your date and we ask that everyone signs this prior to your arrival to ensure a hassle-free start to the best night of your life!

3. Arrive Early
Arriving 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled tour allows you to relax, grab a drink (our patio is licenced!), and soak in the vibes before the tour begins!

4. Leave your own alcohol at home!
This isn’t a BYOB! it’s important to remember that bringing outside alcohol is illegal. Instead, enjoy the great local craft brews that we, and all bars on your tour, have to offer!

5. Bring your own water bottle!
Plastic water bottles are available, when necessary, but we all know that water tastes better from that reusable bottle you haven’t washed in months! But seriously – you’re in for a workout and we hate plastic waste! Pedalling and enjoying Winnipeg’s finest craft beers and cocktails is not as easy as it looks and it’s important to drink water, so please bring your own bottle! We will have a water station for you to fill up when you arrive.

6. Charge your phone
We know you’ll want to show all your friends how much fun you’re having on Instagram! Don’t miss out on capturing memorable moments during your tour. Ensure your phone is fully charged to take photos and videos. One last thing: don’t forget to tag Pedal Pub Winnipeg when you share your post!

7. Plan a safe ride home
It is important to note that your tour does not end where it started! Because of this, having a pick-up plan ensures a safe and responsible way home once your tour ends! Arrange for an uber, taxi or familiarize yourself with public transportation in the area. Do not drink and drive!

8. Ask the taproom experts for advice
While it’s tempting to indulge in every beer and highball that the bar or taproom has to offer, prioritize quality over quantity. Engage with the taproom staff, ask questions, and seek recommendations to make the most of your tasting experience. Most importantly – please do not order 15 espresso martinis! Smart orders, people! Likely outcome is the bar won’t keep up and you won’t have time to enjoy your drink before we take off to the next stop!

9. Drink Responsibly and be respectful
Remember to pace yourself and be mindful of your alcohol consumption. We have zero tolerance for guests who do not respect our team or staff at the stops during the tour. All are welcome but y’all gotta act right!

10. Always listen to your pilot
Your tour guides, Beerless Leaders, or “Pilots,” are trained professionals who have devoted their life to being the best damn Beerless Leader in the country! They are there to enhance your Pedal Pub experience and ensure everyone’s safety so listen up, ask questions, follow their lead and have the best time of your life!

Follow these simple Pedal Pub Pro Tips, and you’re ready for the craziest thrill ride on this side of the Red River! So, gather your friends, raise a glass, and cheers to unforgettable Pedal Pub tour!
