10 Pedal Pub Pro Tips

Complete the e-waiver (sent to you via email) prior to your tour date.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
03.
Do not show up drunk (we cannot allow you on board).

Do not bring hard alcohol on board (it’s illegal).
05.
Bring the right amount of beer, wine, seltzer, etc. (2-3 drinks per person). Basically, anything you can find at a convenience store that isn’t hard alcohol is allowed onboard!
06.
Bring water and snacks.
07.
Bring a fully-charged phone.
08.
Have a pick-up plan for when your tour ends.
09.
Always drink responsibly and be respectful.
10.
Always listen to your Pilot.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN RIDE?

Each bike holds up to 14 people!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

You can reserve a whole bike for $449 Wednesday – Thursday or for $499 Friday – Sunday. Individual seats can be purchased for $40 per person from Wednesday – Thursday or for $45 from Friday – Sunday.

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL ON THE BIKE?

Yes! You are allowed to bring beer, ciders, wine, seltzers, and basically any of the other fun stuff you can find at a convenience store besides hard alcohol. We do not permit liquor onboard. Please keep in mind that if you are on a private tour and any of your guests are under the age of 21, no one is permitted to bring or consume alcohol on the bike. We are sorry! City rules. You’ll still be able to enjoy beverages during our bar stops.

WHO CAN RIDE?

As long as you can reach the pedals, you can ride! However, please keep in mind these two very important considerations: 1. If you are under the age of 21, you are only able to ride if you are part of a private tour, where the entire bike is rented out. 2. If any guest on the bike is under the age of 21, we are not permitted to allow alcohol on board. This means that no other guests can bring or consume alcohol while onboard. However, you’ll be free to enjoy drinks at our bar stops!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Please dress appropriately for the predicted weather conditions. We ride rain or shine, so dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes or sandals – we don’t recommend heels!

WHAT IF I CAN’T PEDAL?

No problem! There are 5 non-pedaling spots on each bike.

WHERE DOES IT START?

Our tours begin at 1710 Mactavish Ave Richmond, VA 23230.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

DO I TIP MY DRIVER?

Tips are always appreciated. If you had a great time, a standard service industry tip is customary. Automatic gratuity of 20% will be added to any tours involving multiple Pedal Pub bikes.

WHAT IS YOUR WEATHER POLICY?

We ride rain or shine, so please plan your outfit accordingly! If there is a severe weather warning, your Pilot will determine if it’s safe to continue. If your Pilot cancels the tour, you will be issued a rain cheque and may reschedule.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Street parking is available depending on where your tours start and end. Alternatively, you can arrange ride share to drop you off and pick you up at your location(s) for where your tour starts and ends.

CAN I RENT MULTIPLE BIKES?

Yes, it is easy to rent multiple bikes! We have a total of 2 bikes here at Pedal Pub RVA, which means that we can accommodate groups of up to 28 people! To book a custom tour, please contact us directly at 804-636-6836 , or submit an inquiry form .

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

No refunds are issued for tours cancelled within seven days of the scheduled tour. Tours cancelled within 14 days may reschedule or receive a 50% refund. Tours cancelled greater than 14 days in advance are provided a full refund.
