WHAT IS THE PEDAL PUB?

It’s a pedal-powered party bike with a certified Pedal Pub party captain in the driver’s seat. Perfect for pub crawls, birthday celebrations, bachelor and bachelorette parties, company outings, brewery tours, sightseeing, and themed nights out — the possibilities are endless. A minimum of 6 pedalers keeps the bike rolling.

WHERE DO WE BOARD?

All tours start and finish at 555 W Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53703. Please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure so you get your full two hours.

HOW LONG IS THE TOUR?

Two hours. Give us a call to ask about additional time.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN RIDE?

Up to 15 riders per bike. Have a bigger group? Ask us about booking multiple bikes.

CAN WE DRINK ON BOARD?

Yes — Pedal Pub Madison is BYOB. No glass and no liquor, and all alcohol has to stay on board for the whole tour. We provide the coolers and the ice. Please don’t arrive intoxicated, and drink responsibly once you’re on board.

WHERE DOES THE BIKE STOP AND FOR HOW LONG?

Your party captain is an expert at reading the vibe of your group and will talk through the options at the start of your tour. Most groups pick 2–3 stops and stay 15–20 minutes at each, but where you go is up to you. There’s no need to lock in your choices before the tour — flexibility is part of the fun.

ISN’T IT HARD TO PEDAL?

Not at all. We’ve had groups well into their seventies pedal just fine, and there’s motor assist on board for the hills.

CAN I EAT ON THE TOUR?

Sure — we recommend keeping it simple. Easy snacks and finger food work best. Several of our bar stops serve food too; just be back at the bike when your party captain asks.

CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC?

The sound system is Bluetooth, so bring your favorite playlists.

WHO DRIVES THE BIKE?

There is always a certified Pedal Pub party captain on board to keep the tour fun and safe.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Pedal Pub Madison operates rain or shine. If rain is in the forecast, bring a jacket or a poncho and think of it as part of the adventure. We only cancel tours when conditions are genuinely unsafe.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?

Yes. The minimum age on a private tour is 15. The minimum age on a public tour is 21.

IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?

The weight limit for any individual rider is 275 pounds.

CAN I SMOKE ON BOARD?

Smoking cigarettes is against our policy. Anything electronic is allowed on private tours — if it needs a lighter, it’s a no-go.

WHAT IF WE WANT TO STAY OUT LONGER?

If the schedule, your party captain, and the weather all allow it, you can extend your tour while you’re underway. We’ll charge the card used to make the original reservation.

HOW DO I RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL MY TOUR?

All sales are final unless you purchased Trip Assurance. With Trip Assurance you can cancel for any reason up to 7 days before your tour for a full refund, no questions asked. Even without it you’re covered for severe weather declared by the National Weather Service — you’ll receive a full refund or a credit valid at any Pedal Pub location.
