As you can imagine, it is difficult to operate a socially-focused tourism business in the era of Covid-19 and social distancing. New guidelines and recommendations from the government are changing and bars and restaurants have their own rules in place. No doubt it is difficult, but certainly not impossible.
We look forward to pedaling with the people of the Twin Cities in a safe, clean, and (of course) fun manner. Everyone is concerned with Covid-19, us included. Here is a list of changes and improvements we made to ensure a healthful and safe ride.
- Low contact tours. A huge advantage Pedal Pub Twin Cities has is the fact that we are an OUTSIDE event. Friends and relatives can enjoy a beverage while pedaling through Downtown Minneapolis. If you and your party don’t feel like stopping at a bar, brewery, or restaurant that’s absolutely fine! We have created a low contact route that bypasses the busier parts of downtown and focuses on scenic sights for a lowkey ride.
- Masks and sanitizer on bike. Employees are required to wear masks when working. Extra masks and hand sanitizer are available on Pedal Pub for patrons.
- Clean everything, all the time. We have refined our cleaning procedure for our bikes, equipment, and storage with all recommended cleaning methods.
- Work with responsible bar partners. If you and your group want to make a quick stop for a drink, we are asking our guests to stop at bars, breweries, and restaurants that practice safe cleaning policies. Pedal Pub has been monitoring any news regarding downtown businesses and will have plenty of suggestions for our riders based off the latest information.
Pedal Pub Twin Cities is eagerly looking forward to the upcoming season, and rest assured, we are doing all we can to have a safe summer. We look forward to pedaling with you!
